Hallowe'en Jackye is a primitive whimsical folkart round pumpkin head doll with a painted face and separate sewn on eyelids and green excelsior moss hair. She is OOAK original by Sew Prim and new for 2009!
Her sweet dress is made from quilt shop quality whimsical polka dot fabric and trimmed with a sleeve and skirt self ruffle with vintage style black ball fringe. Her pants are a vintage stripe cotton batist in white, orange and copper. Her little black booties are painted on and laced with orange crochet cotton tied with orange jingle bells. Tied around Hallowe'en Jackye's neck is a sage color fringed chenille scarf cut from a vintage chenille bedspread. Her black felt hat is trimmed at the base of the crown with black vintage style tinsel garland. Pinned to the front of her dress is a pin that reads "Happy Halloween". Wired to Jackye's arm is her broom made from stained raffia and an antique mill bobbin. The jack-o-lantern bucket is painted white then stained for a "gothic look". Hallowe'en Jackye can sit or hang (as shown) and measures 24 inches to the top of her hat.
She will arrive to you as pictured, signed, dated and with the artist's tag. Her prim Nettie cat "Haunted" is also included.
This sweet primitive folkart jack-o-lantern faced doll is wonderful in person! You won't be disappointed!

This sweet set of 3 "Spool Ghouls" measure approximately 8 inches tall and will come as shown, but because each set is cut to order and individually handmade, will vary slightly.
Each one is painted and stained, with primitively hand stitched appliqued and painted faces and twig arms. They are securely mounted to a black stained wood spool, then wrapped with stained gauze for a prim look.
A wonderful Halloween set of spoolies and with lots of handwork detail!
This set of 3 "Spool Ghouls" will arrive to you signed, dated and with the artist's tag.
